Fernweh
Founded in Winter 2014, Fernweh began as a senior project intended to spotlight the German language and grew into a multi-university cooperation project. Fernweh includes submissions from five prestigious German departments, and has been published with collaboration from Cal Poly’s World Languages and Cultures Department.
This journal serves three primary purposes:
- To showcase the literary and critical writings of undergraduate students studying the German language in the United States
- Offer undergraduate students the opportunity to formally publish their work
- Promote collaboration between undergraduate students across the United States
The first issue was published June 2015.
