Fernweh! Student Journal
Founded in Winter 2014, Fernweh began as a senior project intended to spotlight the German language and grew into a multi-university cooperation project. Fernweh includes submissions from 5 prestigious German departments, and has been published with collaboration from Cal Poly’s Modern Languages & Literatures department.
This journal serves three primary purposes:
- To showcase the literary and critical writings of undergraduate students studying the German language in the United States
- Offer undergraduate students the opportunity to formally publish their work
- Promote collaboration between undergraduate students across the United States
The first issue was published June 2015.
