WLC 310: Cultures of Italy Field Trip
On March 9, 2020, students in WLC 310: Cultures of Italy participated in a field trip at Giuseppe's Cucina Rustica in downtown San Luis Obispo.
In the Cal Poly spirit of Learn by Doing, the field trip enabled students to learn about migration and food and reflect on Italy's regional identities, as it was discussed throughout the quarter. Students observed how certain recipes are created, and tasted the final products personally prepared by the restaurant owner, Mr. Giuseppe DiFronzo.
